The Falkirk wheel is a masterpiece of engineering and technology, the only rotating boat lift in the world sits in Falkirk, connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal.

Kelpie, is the name Scots have given to a mythological shape-shifting water spirit that has said to be inhabiting the lochs and pools of Scotland. The tallest equine (horse) sculptors in the world, Kelpies are 60-metre-high horse-head sculptures!

The Helix Park has many adventurous activities besides the Kelpies, it has it’s own adventure zone and splash play area as well as PEDALOS in which you take out in the lagoon.

The pedalos operate every weekend and local school holidays between July and September if the weather permits!
